Insulated concrete forms (ICF)
homes are constructed using
specialized foam blocks.  This
Rough and Ready net zero
home chose Logix as their
block provider.
Electrical stubs need to be
placed at this point in
construction.
CA License No. 862248
The lower portion of the home
has concrete poured and
conduit installed.  It is nearly
ready for rough wiring
installation.

The remainder of the blocks
were placed and filled with
concrete.  Wood framing inside
the home has been installed
and rough wiring can
commence.
Wiring inside an ICF home is
similar to a wood framed house
with minor visual differences...
The wires appear to make a
catacomb, or ant farm
tunneling, effect.
A closer view of how wire is
inserted into the foam block.
The cathedral style great room.
Final view of the net zero, ICF
home in Grass Valley;
including new solar panels.
Trim of the home is complete,
this picture shows the great
room with two new ceiling fans
installed.
Installation of this gorgeous
light fixture adorns the exit to
the back yard.  LundCo Electric,
the chosen electrical
contractors for this project,
helped make this another
successful custom ICF net zero
home.
